Participatory arts project for women

Ran by arts care gofal celf this health & wellbeing project offers weekly 2hr sessions of participatory movement & arts workshops for women of all ages to engage in. the project also offers a crèche for any preschool children to attend whilst mums have me time. acgc offer drop in costs at £3:50 per adult & £1:50 per child. new members always welcome. why not come along & meet other ladies & have the opportunity throughout the year to explore a variety of professionally led arts workshops including belly dance, visual arts, music making, drumming, contemporary dance & much more.

SANDS Support Group

If you or someone you know have been affected by the loss of a baby, then Pembrokeshire SANDS meet once a month to offer support and the chance to talk with someone who knows exactly what you're going through. The meetings are held at Plas Hyfryd Hotel in Narberth from 6.30 to 8.30pm on the second Wednesday of every month. Coffee morning and tabletop sale - Pembroke

Churches summer fete - St brides and Marloes

Our annual summer fete opens at 6pm.

set in the stunning grounds of st brides castle

we have traditional stalls, raffles, a fantastic cake stall, an equally fantastic book stall, skittles, coconut shy etc

we have teas, coffees and refreshments as well as more substantial refreshments such as jacket potatoes and homemade soup for sale together with local produce.

all money raised goes towards the two churches.

Wings Over Carew 2015 - Carew Cheriton

Carew Cheriton Control Tower Group are once again holding an exciting festival this summer – ‘Wings Over Carew 2015!’



The event, which ‘celebrates all things military’, is taking place on 8th and 9th August from 10am-5pm.



The highlight of the event will be the RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team, who jump on the Saturday afternoon, with the Red Devils, Army Parachute Regiment flying in on Sunday afternoon.



Other attractions include a static spitfire with working engine, City of Swansea Pipe Band, RAF Cadet Band, military vintage and modern vehicles and many other attractions and stands!



A Dakota Flypast is also expected on both the Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th too!

River Rally - Pembroke
Saturday 8th of August '15
Pembroke Town Council will be holding their annual River Rally on Saturday 8th August 2015 – from 11am until 3pm when a flotilla of small boats will navigate the Pembroke River to the Castle Pond exercising the ancient right of navigation along the Pembroke River. The flotilla is organised by David James of the West Wales Heritage Maritime Trust. On board the lead boat will be the Mayors of Pembroke and Pembroke Dock. During the afternoon there will be a summer fair on South Quay ,with Music from the Vagrant Crew and MC Neil Thomas

Following the event there will be a charity abseil over the castle wall to the quayside

Celtic longboat rowing races - Llanion

Longboat rowing under wsra rules hosted by llanion warriors rowing club.

the action starts at 10.30am with races for men, ladies, mixed crews and novices/youths.

I am going to shave my hair off to raise funds for tj danes rescue on august 22,tj rescues and re homes these beautiful great danes in to their" furever homes" for what ever the reason,these danes are never bought or sold. my hair will be donated to " the little princess trust " who make wigs for little boys and girls.we are on facebook " shaving it for the danes"
