MBNA Balance Transfer Card Just Keeps Getting Better

MBNA Balance Transfer Card Just Keeps Getting Better

The MBNA 0% Balance Transfer card has always been a market-leading credit card, offering holders strong deals for both balance transfers and purchases. But if you thought it couldn’t get any better, think again because MBNA has added two great new features.

Customers applying for the credit card for the existing benefits will now also receive contactless technology built in, allowing them to make purchases of up to £15 without having to dock their card. As well as this, MBNA have introduced a different order of payment allocation that sees higher interest balances paid off first.

Speaking about the card, Will Curley, product executive for Bank of America Europe Card Services, which operates under the MBNA brand in the UK, said: “Our customers tell us they are looking for better offers in the market, and that is what we are delivering.”

He went on to say: “We are constantly searching for new ways to bring more choice, simplicity and value to all that we do, including delivering a suite of products that offer real value for customers.”

The MBNA Balance Transfer card itself is a bit special even without the two new additions, it comes with 0% on balance transfers (made within the first 60 days) for 16 months from the opening of your account at just a 2.88% handling fee.

Compare all credit cards to see this particular card, as well as having a focus on balance transfers, it also has a great deal on purchases, offering 0% for the first three months. For both purchases and balance transfers, the standard rate of interest is a below average 16.7% APR (typical) variable.
